Praia, Feb 21 (Inforpress) - The parliamentary group of the African Party of Independence of Cabo  Verde (PAICV, opposition) today accused the government of "political casting" with a "stew" speech on good governance that is nothing more than a "propaganda of happiness".

The person who stated this is deputy Francisco Pereira, who added that the Government has “failed” the Cape Verdeans and that it has not been able to implement “principles of good governance”.

The opposition deputy spoke during the debate with the prime minister about “Good governance”, that, in his opinion, good governance should be seen as a strategic resource for development, which “necessarily” involves the observance of ethics, transparency, fairness and loyalty.

“Respect for the principles of good governance is the ‘sine qua non’ condition for strengthening democracy, the economy and national cohesion, which unfortunately has not been the prerogative of the MpD Government”, pointed out the deputy.
